Where Policy, Philosophy, and Economics Meet

Where Policy, Philosophy, and Economics Meet

Our society thrives on the intersections. We explore how philosophical principles shape economic systems, and how policies bring theory into practice. By combining these disciplines, members gain a deeper, more holistic understanding of the world.

What is the [PPE Society] and who is it for?

The [PPE Society] is a student‑run club for anyone interested in politics, philosophy and economics, regardless of degree or year level.

Do I need to study PPE or economics to join?

No. Students from any degree can join; you just need an interest in politics, philosophy or economics, not a specific PPE or econ major.

Is there a membership fee?

Most student societies either charge a small annual fee or are free; if a fee applies, it helps cover event catering, speakers and printing costs.

Are your events open to non‑members?

Many flagship events are open to everyone on campus, but members get discounted or priority access and first notice of limited‑capacity opportunities such as careers events.

How can I contact the society?

You can reach us via email or Instagram (linked in the footer of this site), or come and chat to us at our stall during O‑Week or careers and club expos on campus.
